Charleston Southern Powers defeated Gardner-Webb 5-2 on Sunday
BOILING SPRINGS, NC — Charleston Southern beat Gardner-Webb on the senior day 5-2 for its fourteenth straight victory in the Big South. The “dogs are now sitting 3rd at 5-2 in the conference.

Elin Hellberg held on for a 6-3, 7-5 win in position 4. The day ended with Charleston Southern overcoming first-set losses in the No. 2 and No. 6 flights to take those games and clinch victory of the team.
The Runnin’ Bulldogs have a game at Presbyterian (4-2) on Wednesday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. to end the season. With a win in this game, GWU would not finish worse than 3rd in the classification of the Great South.
