CMT Music Awards 2022: Priscilla Block nominated for breakthrough
A rising country music star from Raleigh is seeing her fame soar to new heights with her first CMT Music Award nomination.
Priscilla Block, a 26-year-old singer who saw her music career take off in 2020, is nominated for Breakthrough Video of the Year for her video, “Just About Over You.”
“I’m freaking out right now,” Block said Wednesday in a video posted to his TikTok account, which has 1.3 million followers. “Mainly because you all have the right to vote.”
The CMT Music Awards nominations were announced Wednesday and feature a who’s who of country music, including fellow North Carolina natives Eric Church and Luke Combs. Fans vote for the winners in each category at vote.cmt.com.
