Free COVID-19 vaccines and tests in Charleston
CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – The African American Churches Partnership COVID-19 Surge Testing Team is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Tuesday, July 13.
The organization says the clinic will be held on a first come, first served basis from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Washington Manor Public Housing Complex community hall at 50 Ida Mae Way, Charleston, WV 25301. COVID drive-thru – 19 screening clinics will also be available on the site.
Vaccines and testing are available to eligible community members with valid photo ID and no insurance is required. The PAAC says Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available for adults, and Pfizer’s vaccine will be available to anyone 12 years of age and older.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For those who receive a COVID-19 test, the organization says results are usually back within 48 to 72 hours.
