NC High School Football: Hillside of Durham over Rolesville
Hillside showed off its multi-faceted offense against Rolesville on Friday night and maintained its perfect record behind six touchdowns from four different players in a 43-28 win over the visiting Rams.

The teams were all tied at 7-7 in the first quarter, and the home Hornets took a one-halftime touchdown lead on a run from Dez Smith.
The fireworks started in the third quarter when the Hornets took the lead with a third touchdown, this one a Wilson Kargbo pass to KJ Johnson and a successful two-point conversion. Rolesville rebounded with a touchdown to shoot within eight at 22-14.
That’s when Williams took over. The speedster crossed the line for a touchdown midway through the third to restore the Hornets’ two-point advantage, and after a rushing Rolesville TD from Devon Thomas, Williams added another long run for another touchdown, his second of the half.
The Rams just wouldn’t leave, and just a few plays later, quarterback Braden Atkinson threw a pass to Ohio State’s Noah Rogers commitment for a touchdown, again pulling Rolesville wide of cries at 37-28 after a two-point conversion.
Williams’ third TD – a 51-yard trotter – put the game aside.
