Huntington, West Virginia’s True Soul boutique is heading to Las Vegas for fashion’s biggest trade show “Magic.”

“MAGIC is a high-energy fashion experience and home to the industry’s largest selection of youthful and trendy contemporary apparel, footwear and accessories,” informamarkets.

Rebecca Thomas is the owner of True Soul Boutique located at 905 4and Street. True Soul first opened in November 2020, after Thomas ran away to Huntington from Tampa, Florida for love.

Although Thomas was engaged at this point, she wanted to delay her amphitheater-style wedding in Ritter Park, to fulfill her long-held dream of opening her own business.

“I wanted to focus on the store and bring something fun to Huntington. I believe Huntington is beginning to see how local shopping can positively benefit our community,” Thomas said.

However, with Valentine’s Day approaching, Thomas has a big month ahead of her. This Thursday, February 10and From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., True Soul Boutique will hold a “Galantine Rooftop Shopping Event” at LaFontaine Rooftop Bar. The following Saturday, True Soul will be hosting a storewide Valentine’s Day sale.

Since opening just after the pandemic, Thomas has continued to promote his business in every way possible. She started with weekly radio commercials and became constantly active on social media platforms such as: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest.

After working with an entrepreneur coach and gaining the satisfying knowledge and experience of working at Buckle, Thomas knew she needed to open a store to:

“The true souls of the tristate area.”
