West Virginia ‘Least Fun’ State in America, Study Finds – CBS Pittsburgh

CHARLESTON, W. Va. (KDKA) – While many of us define pleasure differently and enjoy a variety of entertainment in our lives, a recent study by WalletHub compared all states in the United States, concluding that West Virginia is the state “The least fun” in the countryside.

The study looked at factors such as most restaurants, cinemas, golf courses, performing arts theaters, access to gyms / fitness centers, national parks, and more. outdoor activities.

West Virginia found itself near the bottom of several categories, tied for 49th in “lowest personal expenditure on recreation services per capita, tied for 44th in” lowest variety of establishments arts, entertainment and recreation ”, 48th in“ the fewest fitness centers per capita ”and 49th in“ the fewest performing arts theaters per capita ”.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania has found itself as the 10th funniest state in the country.

California was ranked number one, Florida was second and Nevada third.
